Facebook has recently launched the much-awaited desktop version of its Messenger app for Microsoft’s Windows and Apple’s macOS, allowing its users to chat and host group video calls with their friends and family right from their big computer screens.
The desktop app for Facebook messenger has arrived around a year after it was first announced at last year’s F8 developer conference. However, the timing to unveil its standalone desktop app couldn’t be better though.
When you try to check messages on the Facebook app, you'll be asked to install the Messenger app so that you can have more features. Some include the ability to. Open Messenger for Windows or macOS. Click in the top left. Click Report a Problem. Describe the problem in the text box, including the steps you took to encounter the issue. Facebook Messenger for Mac allows you to quickly use the features of Messenger for Facebook by launching the app directly from your dock. You also get the option for desktop notifications.
